The Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine
The Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine - Tsultrim Allione
The Tibetan Buddhist tradition carries carries exotic tales about fearless female "sky dancers" or "wisdom dakinis" who dance in limitless space and act as messengers, guides, and protectors. These five dakinis manifest the feminine wisdom energy, bringing strength, power, and transformation to our lives. On The Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine, Tsultrim Allione — one of the first women to be ordained a Buddhist nun over 30 years ago — guides listeners through 12 rich, image-filled sessions of meditations and visualizations to learn how to embody these archetypes of enlightenment and experience their transformative powers.
Lama Tsultrim Allione, M.A., is author of the National Bestseller: Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict, as well as Women of Wisdom, a groundbreaking book on the lives of great women Tibetan practitioners. She is also author of various audio programs on Feeding Your Demons and other Buddhist topics. Lama Tsultrim was given the international Outstanding Woman in Buddhism award for 2009 in Thailand. She was recognized as an emanation of Machig Labdrön, and was offered her throne and relics at Machig’s monastery in Tibet, Zangri Khangmar. She was also recognized in Nepal by Lama Tsering Wangdu Rinpoche who holds the Chöd lineage from Tingri Langkhor.
